We like to think of a new suit as an investment and always recommend for you to take the best possible care of them. The better you treat them, the longer they will last!

Wash & Care for Wool Suits |
Some of our suits are a poly/rayon blend. Since these fibers are synthetic they have special care needs. These types of blends are generally more wrinkle-resistant, making them easier to wash and care for than natural fibers. We recommend dry cleaning sparingly to prevent wear and tear during the cleaning process. For small stains, we recommend spot cleaning with a damp cloth and mild soap, and Paul Smith agrees! Regularly brushing the suit with a soft-bristled clothes brush to remove dust and debris will also help keep your suit looking nicer for longer! |
Our wool suits on the other hand require much more attention. Wool is a natural fiber that requires gentle wash and care. Wool jackets should only be dry cleaned 1-2 times per season. For small stains, spot cleaning is also recommended. Since wool is a heavy material, they are typically stored for longer and have different storage needs. We recommend using breathable garment bags for protection. A Pro Tip would be to use cedar blocks or lavender sachets in storage areas to prevent moth damage. Proper care will ensure your wool suit maintains its appearance and lasts for many years! |
