How to Wash & Care for Your Poly Rayon Blend and Wool Suits

We like to think of a new suit as an investment and always recommend that you take the best possible care of it. The better you treat it, the longer it will last!

Wash & Care for Poly/Rayon Suits

Wash & Care for Wool Suits

Polyester and rayon blends can offer a comfortable drape and wrinkle resistance. Follow the garment’s care label: the lining and tailoring may require professional cleaning even when the fibers seem easy to wash. Air the suit after wear, brush away dust, and ask a cleaner about stains before applying water or soap.

For wool suits, follow the care label and clean only when needed rather than on a fixed seasonal schedule. Air the suit after wear and use a soft clothes brush to remove surface dust. Ask a professional cleaner about stains if you are unsure how to treat them.

Store the suit clean and dry on a supportive hanger in a breathable garment bag. Check stored clothing regularly; cedar or lavender alone should not be relied on to prevent moth damage.
