Leisure Suit

When we see a leisure suit, we think 1970s! These matching jacket and pants outfits were huge back in the disco days. They featured wild prints, big collars, and flashy colors made from polyester or velour fabrics.

Guys wore them to look hip and express themselves. Leisure suits let them break from stiff, formal clothes and kick back with a laidback, groovy look. But like all fashions, the leisure suit faded over time. Now they are funky retro relics. When I see one, it takes me back to the far-out days of disco and big hair. Leisure suits capture the bold spirit of 70s style.
