Wrist Game Strong: Elevate Your Style from the Sleeves Down
What is a cuff? A cuff is the end part of a sleeve, where the material of the sleeve is flipped back. Cuffs help keep your sleeves in place and stop the shirt from sliding down your hands. Your shirt sleeve should be long enough so that the cuffs can be shown outside of your jacket.

Apposta gives us the full rundown on the different types of shirt cuffs and when to wear them! Today we are going to discuss the two most common types of cuffs. They are the Barrel Cuff and the French Cuff.
Barrel Cuffs
These are the most common, most versatile cuffs. They usually have up to two buttons and are typically found on ready-to-wear shirts. They are appropriate to wear with most suits. They can be worn in office or business settings and you do not necessarily need a tie. Shirts with a barrel cuff can also be worn alone, without a suit.
French Cuffs
The French cuff is also very common, however, they are not as versatile as the barrel cuff. The cuffs are often secured using cufflinks, allowing you to show your style and personality. French cuff shirts are much more formal. They are appropriate to wear to events like weddings, black tie events, or higher-level business meetings.
